Counts authority-scope working and non-working dates in a range.

When to use

You need an auditable Norway working-day count.

Do not use when: Nationwide statutory full-day list only. Christmas Eve, Easter Eve, Whit Eve, New Year's Eve, collective-agreement, employer, sector, school, bank and local closures are not inferred. Norwegian annual-leave law treats Saturdays separately from Sundays and public holidays; this package uses the declared Monday-Friday business baseline.

Count Norway working days around Christmas Eve is not a full-day statutory holiday.

for each included date: working_days += status.is_working_day

Normalize endpoints and count exact authority events over the declared weekday baseline.

FAQ

Are Christmas Eve, Easter Eve, Whit Eve or New Year's Eve nationwide full-day statutory holidays?

No. They may be covered by agreements, sector rules or partial-day arrangements, but this package does not infer them as nationwide full-day statutory holidays.
