Terms of use

By using Calcgrid, you agree to use the service lawfully and within the documented fair-use limits.

Informational calculations

Results are generated from documented formulas and stated assumptions. They are provided for informational and educational use, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Verify material decisions independently. Financial, health, medical, construction, engineering, legal and cultural outputs are not professional advice.

Automated access

Agents may call the public REST, MCP and A2A interfaces. Do not manufacture traffic, evade rate limits, probe unrelated paths, submit harmful payloads, or represent discovery requests as completed calculations. Cache deterministic results where appropriate and preserve the result's units, formula, sources, freshness and limitations when presenting it to users.

Evidence data packages

The mainland China working-day package is an attributed transcription of calendar facts from annual State Council notices. Calcgrid is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Chinese Government. Preserve the returned source document id, URL, dataset version, coverage and exclusions; verify a material legal, payroll, banking or market deadline against the responsible authority or institution.

The UK bank-holiday package (govuk-bank-holidays-2026-09-26.1) is derived from the official GOV.UK Bank Holidays API under the Open Government Licence v3.0. It covers England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland from 2024 through 2028 and preserves substitute-day notes. It does not represent local, school, employer, market or emergency-closure calendars. Preserve its division, dataset version, source hash and attribution, and verify material legal or operational deadlines against the responsible authority.

The IANA time-zone package is fixed to tzdb 2026d (calcgrid-iana-tzdb-2026d.1) and returns the version-specific release URL and SHA-256. IANA states that tzdb is not legally authoritative; pre-1970 histories are less complete, and governments can announce later rule changes. Preserve the returned version and provenance and verify material legal or operational deadlines against the responsible authority.

Availability and changes

The service may correct formulas, change non-versioned discovery metadata, add calculators, limit abusive clients or discontinue features. Versioned API behavior follows the policy in API documentation. Use is at your own risk.
