Why is 12 January a holiday?

Ley 51 de 1983 moves the paid rest day for 6 January to the following Monday when it does not fall on Monday.

Does this cover every Colombian municipality and employer?

No. This is the nationwide statutory paid-rest layer; municipal, departmental, bank, school, employer and sector calendars require separate evidence.

Are future years included?

No. The package pins 2026 only and must be refreshed from the next official calendar.
