When to use

You need an auditable Nigeria working-day count.

Do not use when: This is the nationwide federal public-holiday layer, not a universal private-employer, state, local-government, school, banking, market, diplomatic-mission or sector calendar. Ministry of Interior announcements take precedence over conflicting secondary or diplomatic snapshots for federal dates. Eid dates are lunar and can be amended by later official notice. The Public Holidays Act permits special or substituted dates and explicitly does not create an automatic extra day for a holiday falling on Saturday or Sunday; no replacement day is invented here.

FAQ

Does this answer every Nigerian employer's calendar?

No. It is the nationwide federal public-holiday layer. State, local, school, bank, market, diplomatic, sector and private-employer calendars need their own authority and are not inferred.

Why does the package use March 19–20 for Eid-ul-Fitr?

Those are the dates in the Nigeria Ministry of Interior's federal announcement. A diplomatic snapshot lists different dates, so the federal announcement is retained as the authoritative scope and the conflict is disclosed.
