When to use

You need an auditable 2026 central-government count and can specify the office scope.

Do not use when: You need a state/UT, bank, employer, school, exchange or exact outside-Delhi local optional calendar.

Formula

for each included date: working_days += selected status.is_working_day

Normalize endpoints, apply weekly baseline and applicable Gazetted dates, and preserve Restricted events separately.

FAQ

Does the count pick the three optional holidays outside Delhi?

No. The official memorandum delegates that selection locally, so the package fails closed rather than inventing it.
