Add Global Reference Working Days
Adds or subtracts working days using the pinned OpenWorkdays national-scope reference for 246 country/territory codes.
When to use
You need a broad 2026-2028 date offset and accept OpenWorkdays reference semantics, including its source observed/estimated flags.
Do not use when: The task requires a direct official authority, regional/local or employer calendar, or dates outside published coverage.
Example user requests
- Add five broad-reference working days to 2026-10-23 in Australia.
Formula
move one Gregorian day at a time; decrement remaining only when the source reference status is_working_day=true
The start date is excluded for non-zero offsets. Skip source weekends and public-holiday events; preserve source flags in the result.

FAQ
What if the offset crosses the snapshot boundary?
The call fails with OUT_OF_RANGE rather than extrapolating.
Are regional closures included?
This is a broad national-scope reference generated from an open rules-based library. It may omit regional, employer, bank, exchange, school or one-off authority closures, and future lunar/late-proclaimed dates can be marked estimated. Verify material legal, payroll, banking or settlement decisions against the responsible authority.
