Counts authority-scope working and non-working dates in a range.

When to use

You need an auditable Egypt working-day count.

Do not use when: This package covers the official nationwide public-holiday layer published for Egyptian government/public-sector scope. Private employers, banks, schools, diplomatic missions, exchanges, local or sector calendars may differ and are not inferred. Friday-Saturday is the ordinary weekend baseline; special remote-work or operating-hour decisions are not treated as holidays. Islamic dates and later Prime Minister decisions require a refreshed package.

FAQ

Does this cover every Egyptian employer and bank?

No. It is the official nationwide government/public-sector holiday layer. Private-employer, bank, school, exchange, diplomatic and sector calendars require their own authority.

Why is Labour Day on 7 May?

The Presidency's 2026 official table publishes 7 May as the holiday date; the package uses the published date rather than inferring 1 May or another substitute.

Are all Islamic dates stable for future years?

No. This package pins the 2026 published decisions only; future lunar dates and later Prime Minister decisions require refreshed evidence.
