## Purpose

Counts authority-scope working and non-working dates in a range.

**Use when:** You need an auditable Switzerland working-day count.

**Do not use when:** Federal layer only. Cantonal public holidays, municipal holidays, employer, collective-agreement, school, bank and exchange schedules are not inferred; Swiss law permits cantons to recognize additional holidays.

## FAQ

**Does this package include Swiss cantonal holidays?**

No. The Swiss Confederation identifies 1 August as the only federal public holiday; cantonal holidays vary and require a canton-specific package.
