Checks a date against the Saturday-Sunday weekend baseline and exact 2026-2027 authority events.

**Use when:** You need a deterministic Norway Norway nationwide statutory public holidays for 2026-2027 result.

**Do not use when:** Nationwide statutory full-day list only. Christmas Eve, Easter Eve, Whit Eve, New Year's Eve, collective-agreement, employer, sector, school, bank and local closures are not inferred. Norwegian annual-leave law treats Saturdays separately from Sundays and public holidays; this package uses the declared Monday-Friday business baseline.
