## FAQ

**Why are there more public-holiday dates than fourteen?**

The official year table contains fourteen named holidays (five national and nine other scheduled dates). Cap.252 also declares Sundays public holidays. Separate flags preserve the distinction without double-counting a named holiday on Sunday.

**Is the next Monday automatically off?**

No uniform substitute Monday is assigned here. Extra vacation leave can depend on the individual's normal roster and employment conditions; this package neither denies nor calculates that entitlement or its later use date.

**Does the count represent an employee's annual attendance?**

No. It is an explicit Monday-Friday planning count before individual annual leave, compensatory leave and employer/sector arrangements.

**Are bank, school and future-year calendars included?**

No. This profile covers the general 2026 statutory calendar only. Unverified years are rejected rather than filled using estimates.
