## FAQ

**Which workweek should I choose?**

Explicitly choose mon_fri_planning or mon_sat_planning. Order A1-671 publishes both; other arrangements need employer/contract evidence, not a guessed default.

**Are holidays replaced on Monday?**

No automatic weekday substitute for weekend holidays. August 17 and December 28 remain working dates in these 2026 models.

**Does one-hour shortening mean a day off?**

No. It counts as one working date when working in the selected baseline. Six such dates in the five-day model and ten in the six-day model. Conditional eve markers also remain visible on holidays/weekends for separately assessed shifts.

**Are part-time workers automatically excluded from shortening?**

No. VDI distinguishes part-time from a statutory reduced norm; actual eligibility, shifts and remuneration require separate information.
