Counts authority-scope working and non-working dates in a range.

**Use when:** You need an auditable Kazakhstan working-day count.

**Do not use when:** This package covers the nationwide published 2026 five-day schedule over a Saturday-Sunday baseline. Six-day, shift, continuous-operation, employer, bank, school, local and sector calendars are not inferred. Qurban Ait is represented by the published 2026 first-day date. Adilet's current text records Constitution Day on 15 March with an amendment effective 2026-07-01, while the published 2026 government calendar does not add a March 15/16 closure; this package follows the published 2026 calendar and future-year packages must refresh the legal transition.

## FAQ

**Does this include six-day or shift schedules?**

No. It is the published nationwide five-day schedule; six-day, shift, continuous-operation and employer-specific calendars require separate evidence.

**Why is March 15 not added to the 2026 list?**

The current Adilet text records the Constitution Day amendment as effective 1 July 2026, while the published 2026 Government calendar does not add a March 15/16 closure. This package preserves that source conflict instead of silently backfilling a closure.

**Are religious and transfer dates distinguished?**

Yes. Qurban Ait and Orthodox Christmas are religious_day_off events; published Monday or weekday replacements are transferred_day_off events.
