**Use when:** You need a source-labelled nationwide public-holiday reference count for a supported country and regional or substitute-day semantics are not required.

**Do not use when:** The range needs a direct official authority, regional/local or employer calendar, substitute-day rules, or dates outside 2026-2028.

Normalize reversed endpoints, apply endpoint flags, and count the CLDR weekend plus included nationwide public-holiday events. All values are computed from the formula above; no measurement or live data is involved.

## FAQ

**Does this prove an employer's working schedule?**

This reference package includes only nationwide public events from OpenHolidays for 2026-2028. It excludes regional/local holidays, substitute-day inference, employer, bank, exchange, school, religious and emergency closures. Verify material legal, payroll, banking or settlement decisions against the responsible authority.

**What happens outside 2026-2028?**

The calculator fails closed with OUT_OF_RANGE.
