## Formula

`move one Gregorian day at a time; decrement remaining only when the reference status is_working_day=true`

The start date is excluded for non-zero offsets. Weekend and included nationwide public-holiday dates are skipped; substitute days are not inferred.

## FAQ

**What if the offset crosses the snapshot boundary?**

The call fails with OUT_OF_RANGE rather than extrapolating.

**Are substitute days inferred?**

This reference package includes only nationwide public events from OpenHolidays for 2026-2028. It excludes regional/local holidays, substitute-day inference, employer, bank, exchange, school, religious and emergency closures. Verify material legal, payroll, banking or settlement decisions against the responsible authority.
