Counts authority-scope working and non-working dates in a range.

**Use when:** You need an auditable France working-day count.

**Do not use when:** Alsace-Moselle, overseas territories, employer, sector, school, bank, exchange and regional calendars are not inferred.

## FAQ

**Does every French public holiday guarantee a day off?**

No. This package records the national legal list; closure and work rules can depend on collective agreements and employer/sector rules. May 1 has special statutory protection.
