## Purpose

Checks a date against the Saturday-Sunday weekend baseline and exact 2026-2026 authority events. Requires explicit mon_fri_planning; national-importance dates and three-hour shortening never add full-day rest.

**Use when:** You need a deterministic Estonia Estonia 2026 statutory rest and conditional shortening facts with explicit Monday-Friday planning baseline result.

**Do not use when:** Estonia 2026 statutory rest facts over an explicitly selected Monday-Friday planning baseline. Sixteen national-importance dates do not add rest. Four dates carry a conditional three-hour shortening rule but still count as one planning working date, not a half-day or full-day holiday. No substitute or bridge is invented. Individual shifts, actual working hours, opening hours, employer/local/sector/school/bank schedules, replacement weekly rest, payroll, legal deadlines and future years are not computed.

## FAQ

**Are all named dates days off?**

No. PTS sections 1-2 supply 12 statutory rest dates; section 3 supplies 16 separate national-importance dates without extra rest.

**Does shortening make a half-day holiday?**

No. The three-hour rule applies immediately before four named holidays when scheduled to work; a date counts once here, without an assumed eight-hour day or employee-hours/payroll calculation.

**Are Easter Monday and Whit Monday holidays?**

Neither is in PTS sections 1-2. April 6 and May 25 remain working dates in the selected 2026 Monday-Friday planning model.

**Is this my attendance roster?**

No. Required mon_fri_planning is an explicit planning model; shifts, actual opening hours, payroll and legal deadlines need other evidence.
