## Purpose

Counts authority-scope working and non-working dates in a range.

**Use when:** You need an auditable Denmark working-day count.

**Do not use when:** Nationwide statutory list only. Collective-agreement, employer, sector, school, bank, local and customary half-day closures are not inferred; Store Bededag is not a holiday from 2024 onward.

## FAQ

**Are May 1, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve public holidays?**

No. The official Danish government guidance says these dates are not statutory public holidays; an agreement or employer can still grant time off.
