## Purpose

Counts authority-scope working and non-working dates in a range. Requires explicit mon_fri_planning; commemorative events do not create rest.

**Use when:** You need an auditable Czech Republic working-day count.

**Do not use when:** Czech Republic 2026 statutory rest-day facts over an explicitly selected Monday-Friday planning baseline. This is not a universal legal weekly roster. No shift, individual employer, bank/exchange, school, retail opening, payroll or legal-deadline schedule is computed. Commemorative days do not add rest; no substitute Monday is inferred. Future-year coverage is not asserted.

## Formula

`planning_workday = weekday AND no state_holiday AND no other_holiday`

Apply 13 unique 2026 holiday dates under Act 245/2000. Keep commemorative events separate, count January 1 once and never infer substitute dates or personal rosters.

## FAQ

**Is Monday-Friday a mandatory schedule for everyone?**

No. Select mon_fri_planning explicitly. Individual work and rest rosters, night-shift day boundaries and exceptions are not computed.

**Do significant commemorative days create extra holidays?**

No. Section 4 does not add rest. March 30 Flag Day was added only from May 13, 2026 and is not retroactively included as a 2026 occurrence.
