## Purpose

Counts authority-scope working and non-working dates in a range.

**Use when:** You need an auditable Chile working-day count.

**Do not use when:** This package covers Chile's nationwide statutory/public-holiday layer over a Saturday-Sunday baseline. Regional/local holidays, school, bank, private-employer, sector and collective-agreement schedules are not inferred. Commerce mandatory-rest exceptions are preserved as provenance but are not generalized to every worker. Future annual dates require refreshed official evidence.

Regional/local holidays, school, bank, private-employer, sector and collective-agreement schedules are not inferred. Commerce mandatory-rest exceptions are preserved as provenance but are not generalized to every worker. Future annual dates require refreshed official evidence. ## FAQ

**Does this cover every Chilean region?**

No. It is the nationwide statutory/public-holiday layer; regional and local holidays require separate evidence.

**Are commerce mandatory-rest holidays the same as every worker's day off?**

No. The event metadata preserves the commerce scope and statutory exceptions; it does not infer a universal private-employer or sector closure.

**Are future years included?**

No. The package pins 2026 only and must be refreshed from official legislation and agency notices.
